About Us:

Mount Greenwood Sound is a family owned business that has been providing music to the Chicago land area since the Summer of 2001. Brian's first gig was at his uncle's 4th of July party that year.  Now 9 years later, Brian performs at over 50 gigs a year. Business grew so fast that in the Summer of 2008 Mike Wydra, a longtime friend, joined the team.

There is a reason why we grew so fast. Simply put, for every event we are committed to provide the best entertainment possible. We are a licensed business in Cook County.

The best type of advertising is word-of-mouth.  This website was launched two years ago, without the need to advertise.  We were growing enough already!  Please take a look around and view sample playlists from this past year.

A Brief Overview: 

Mount Greenwood Sound utilizes an all digital music database with over 40,000 songs.  The advantage of using a digital system is that we are able to search and play almost every request. We have a Napster music database subscription for our clients.  Therefore if a wireless internet connection (WiFi) is available, we can increase our library to 8 MILLION songs!

We have sound systems available for 15 to 1,500 people. We bring our own table and extension cords. All we need from you is an electrical outlet.
